BLANCHE RUBIN began studying with Rudi in 1968, shortly after meeting Bruce. About a year and a half later she and Bruce were married in the meditation room in Rudi's home on East 10th Street in Manhattan. Blanche holds a doctorate in Art Education and has taught art in many settings, from the elementary to the university levels. She was the national program evaluator for the J. Paul Getty Education Institute for 13 years and currently works as manager of the Rubin households. Blanche is responsible for classes in New York when Bruce is in Los Angeles.
